Catalyst News Foundation (“Catalyst,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website and related digital services (collectively, the “Site”) in support of our nonprofit mission to provide public-interest, community-centered journalism, information and resources.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is provided for informational, educational, and public-interest purposes.

You may access and use the Site for personal, educational, research, advocacy, and other noncommercial public-interest purposes, provided that you do not remove copyright notices or misrepresent the source of the material.

You agree not to use the Site in any way that:

• interferes with its operation,
• compromises security,
• or infringes on the rights of others.
   

Unless otherwise noted, all original content on the Site — including articles, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, and design — is owned by Catalyst News Foundation or used with permission and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.

You may:

• share links to our content,
• quote brief excerpts with proper attribution,
• and use materials consistent with fair use and nonprofit public-interest practices.
   

You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute substantial portions of Site content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Catalyst News Foundation values community voices.

If you submit content to us — including comments, stories, photos, videos, or other materials — you represent that:

• you own the content or have permission to submit it, and
• you are at least 13 years old.
   

By submitting content, you grant Catalyst a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, publish, and adapt the material solely in furtherance of our nonprofit journalistic and educational mission, including archival and promotional purposes related to that mission.

You retain ownership of your submitted content.

We will not sell user-submitted content or use it for unrelated commercial exploitation.

Where appropriate, Catalyst may credit contributors by name or pseudonym. We reserve the right to edit submissions for clarity, length, or legal considerations while preserving the original meaning.

Submission does not guarantee publication.

4. A statement of good-faith belief that use is unauthorized
